Lack of attentiveness is fast becoming commonplace.

We seem to be living in constant state of distraction.

No one person or task gets our full attention these days: reading emails while on the phone; putting people on hold or winding up an important conversation to take another incoming call; taking a phone call or answering emails on your Blackberry whilst in a meeting; texting on your phone whilst with your family…the list is endless.

Australian basketball’s new head honcho will need to keep a cake of soap in his office.

He can use it to wash out the mouths of some naughty boys who are running amok amid the chaos that is the NBL.

Perth Wildcats chief executive Nick Marvin has had enough of the bad behaviour and has called on the league to pull some miscreants into line.

As if the state of the national league isn’t bad enough with teams falling faster than a Corey “Homicide” Williams’ drive to the basket.
