Male Depression not to be laughed at

Back in 1993 as a young journalist I wrote about the issue of teenage suicide. Today, almost 15 years later the problem has only worsened.
More than six suicides are committed each day in Australia – of those five are men.
What’s worse is most of these men are between 25 and 44 years old – what should be their most enjoyable and exciting years.
Not all of these men who kill themselves in the prime of their life are diagnosed as mentally ill – yet they are in situations each day where they see more hope in ending their lives.
